Aleane Daniels Bedford, 90, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Aleane was born in Wayne County on June 6, 1929 to the late Luby and Mildred Daniels. She was married to the late Leroy “Fat” Bedford. Aleane worked for many years as a technician with Cherry Hospital. She had been attending the Ray of Hope Church in Goldsboro. Her life was filled with kindness and a love for others that she displayed every time she smiled.
Aleane will be remembered by many for her generosity and her willingness to visit and help others. She was the rock of her family. Aleane’s family knew that she loved them with all her heart and truly was a blessing to them.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home. A service celebrating Aleane’s life will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel and entombment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Aleane is survived by her daughter, Lois Ann Bedford Smith of Goldsboro; grandson, Kyle Smith of Goldsboro; foster daughter, Jorita Turner; and brother, Wallace Daniels.
