Deborah Elaine Matthews Bronner, 67, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center
Debbie was born in Cumberland County on March 25, 1952 to the late Francis Phillip Matthews and Dorothy Elaine Hildreth Matthews. She was married for 34 years to the late Conrad A. Bronner. Debbie was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She will be remembered for her unconditional love as a wife, mother and grandmother.
A service celebrating Debbie’s life will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Robert F. Bardin officiating. The family will receive friends in McChesney Hall at First Presbyterian Church following the service.
Debbie is survived by her children, Matt Bronner, Shawn Bronner and Allison Bronner; granddaughters, Peyton, Emily and Eva; and brother, Steve Matthews. She is also survived by her step-daughters, Donna Bronner and Debbie Bronner; four step grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Francis Phillip (Phil) Matthews, Jr.
