Annie Bell Phelps Turner, 103, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019, after a long fulfilled life.
Annie was born in Ahoskie, NC on March 28, 1916 to the late M.C. and Annie M. White Phelps. She always enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, which included being with her family. For many years, she worked as a cook for the Tower Drive-In.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 11:00 a .m. in Willow Dale Cemetery with Rev. Bill Cotton officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.
Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Britton Turner and sons, Linwood Turner and Billy Turner. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Linda Turner of Goldsboro and several nieces and nephews.
