Annette Stevens Stuart, 79, of the Grantham community passed away on Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. Annette was a nurse at Wayne Memorial Hospital for over thirty years before retiring. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:00 until 1:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stuart is survived by two sons, Bobby Stuart of Asheville and Brian Stuart of Hampstead; five grandchildren Nikki, Kyle, Cierrah, Annie, and Olivia; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Stevens Fields and Libby Stevens Hooks and husband, Mike; five brothers, Everett, Woodrow, and wife, Sally, Jerry and wife, Joyce, Charles and wife, Freddie, Wilson and wife Michelle; a sister in law, Janie Stevens; and a brother in law, Donald Grice.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow Wilson Stevens and Mary Helen Stevens; a sister, Barbara Stevens; and a brother, David Michael Stevens.
Flowers are welcome or memorial donations may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Ct, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
