J. Randall Adams

September 30, 91, 

J. Randall Adams, age 91, died Sunday at the Brian Center in Goldsboro. Born in Craven County, he was the son of the late Hyman and Roxie Harley Adams and the husband of the late Mae Frances Stokes Adams. After serving as a corporal with the United States Army, he was also retired from Tri-County EMC after 25 years of service.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church with Dr. Glenn Phillips, Jr. and Rev. Scott Thrailkill officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.

A private burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery

He is survived by his daughter, Letha Adams of Goldsboro; his sister, Madie Everington of New Bern and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sisters.
