Christopher Thomas Wells, age 41, of 185 Westbrook Ave., died Tuesday at home. Born in Jacksonville, FL, he was the son of Johnny Wells of Virginia and Deborah Jackson of Washington, N.C. and the step-son of C.D. Harding of Chocowinity, N.C.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday at 4:00 pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Stovall officiating. Family members will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Along with his parents, he is survived by his wife, Deana H. Wells; Sons, Steven Elijah Wells, Joshua Dillon Wells, both of Chocowinity, NC and Michael Meadows, Aurora, NC; mother-in-law, Lawanda B. Radford; step-daughters, Deanna C. Bowen and Savannah N. Bowen, both of the home; sisters, Amanda H. Davenport of Jacksonville, NC and Theresa Ginsburg, Las Vegas, NV.
