Harold Clayton Maggard Sr., 67, of Mt. Olive passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at home.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. A graveside service will be held Friday, May 26, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley.
Clayton was born in Kentucky on February 18, 1950 to the late Eugene and Dixie Maggard.
He is survived by a daughter, Dixie Gurley and husband, Richard of Mt. Olive; brother, Dennis; three sisters, Sue, Patricia and Kay; three grandchildren, Bree, Alex and Avery and one great-grandchild, Janie Marie.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Janie Reeves Maggard; son, Harold Clayton Maggard Jr. and his sister, Beatrice.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
