David T. Grigg Jr., 73, passed away at home unexpectedly Tuesday. He was born in Gastonia, NC to Ruth R. Westbrook and the late David T. Grigg Sr., and was married to Kathi Grigg. Mr. Grigg was a member of the United States Army, and was a self-employed plumber.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Grigg is survived by his daughter, Angelia G. Nelson and husband, Frank of Manassas, VA; four grandchildren, Beth, Jacob, Hunter, and Noah Nelson; a sister, Patricia Grigg of Yulee, FL; and two sisters-in-law, Donna Sullivan of Goldsboro and Karon Damron of FL.
