May 13, Mt Olive Mrs. Amber Crumpler Kornegay, widow of Norwood M. Kornegay, passed away Friday, May 13, in Wilmington.
She had been a long time resident of Old Smith’s Chapel Road, Mount Olive, was a member of Mount Olive’s First Baptist Church, and was retired from Southern Bank and Trust Company.
Funeral will be Saturday, May 21, at 11 a.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home with burial following in Maplewood in Mount Olive. Visitation will be during the hour before the service.
