Zachary “Zack” Brett Ward Jr., of Goldsboro passed away at his residence on Sunday. He was born in Ft. Ord, CA to Zachary Brett Ward Sr. and Sandra T. Saunders. He was a machinist with Uchiyama America Inc. 
A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 7:00 P.M. at Providence United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dusty Sprouse officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of his mother, Sandra Saunders.
In addition to his parents, Zack is survived by a sister, Samantha Ward of Goldsboro; two brothers, Michael Ray Creech of Kinston and David Allen Saunders of Wilson; a grandmother, Eunice Ellen Tucker of Pikeville; two uncles, Danny Earl Tucker of Pikeville and Billy Joe Tucker of Chesapeake, VA.
His grandfather, Earl F. Tucker preceded him in death.
