Mr. Johnny Bernard Mickens Jr., 67 of 208 Brazil Street, passed on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 11:00am in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, Inc., 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park North, 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing on Monday, January 30, 2017 from 10:00am until 11:00am in the chapel.
He was born on November 3, 1949 in Wayne County, NC to Johnny B. and Hazel Mae Jones Mickens Sr. He is survived by his wife, Vangeline Pugh Mickens and children.
