Suzanne Marie Moody Ward, 59, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Wayne UNC Healthcare in Goldsboro.
Suzanne was born in Delaware on August 6, 1957 to John Moody and the late Lori Murphy Moody. She was a graduate of East Carolina University where she received her Master’s Degree. Suzanne had worked as a nutritionist with the Wayne County Health Department and later as a Home Economics teacher with Wayne County Public Schools.
Services celebrating Suzanne’s life will be held at a later date.
In addition to her father, Suzanne is survived by her husband, Richard Eugene Ward, Jr.; son, Jonathan Ward and fiancée, Stephanie Tinder of Goldsboro; daughter, Sarah Ward of Goldsboro; grandson, Rowan Sanders; and sister, Becky Moody.
