Ronald Henry Perkins, 68 of Goldsboro passed away Saturday morning at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. He is the son of the late Silas and Sara Perkins, and is the husband of Carol Perkins. Mr. Perkins was the former owner and operator of Wayco Sanitation. In his spare time, he enjoyed restoring antique cars, hunting, fishing, and drag racing. He was very unique, a perfectionist, and a hard worker who loved the outdoors.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral with Rev. Jim Willoughby officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Perkins is survived by his children, Sherry Daughtry and husband, Brian of La Grange, Michael Perkins and wife, Stephanie of Goldsboro, Mark Bridgers and wife, Sonja of Grantham; a brother, Ken Nunn and wife, Lucy of Swansboro; a sister, Barbara Thornton and husband, Bob of Clinton; and 10 grandchildren
