Edward Earl Carter, 74, passed away on Saturday at Wayne UNC Hospital. He was the son of the late Rev. William Carter and Rosie Taylor Carter, and he was married to Annett Mitchell Carter. Mr. Carter was a self employed painter and a member of Walker Memorial United Methodist Church.
Private funeral services will be held.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Carter is survived by his sons, Eddy Carter of Seven Springs and Timmy Carter and friend, Lorena Coley of Belfast; and a brother, Ronnie Carter and wife, Mary of Mt. Olive
