Leonard Melton, 75, died Friday in the Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He was born December 26, 1943 in Wayne County to James Arthur Melton, Sr., and Essie Lillie Melton Bowden and is survived by four children.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday at noon Faith Freewill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
