Patti B. Marriner, 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
Mrs. Marriner was born in Robeson County on August 30, 1937 to the late Linua and Viola Bass Barnhill.
She is survived by one son, Greg K. Horne and wife, Sherry of Goldsboro; one daughter, Sharon Klonoski and husband, Michael of Currie, NC; her sister-in-law, Edith Barnhill of Maryland; three grandchildren, Brooks Horne and wife, Ashley, Eddie Horne and wife, Jessica and Wyatt Horne; two great-grandchildren, Kaydence Horne and Savannah Horne; a special friend, Faye Tewes and all her friends at Kirkwood Retirement Village.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Marriner was preceded in death by her husband, Louis E. Marriner Jr. and her brother, Bob Barnhill.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
