Evangelist Ralph L. “Mousey” Ginn, 75, went to his heavenly home Monday, June 24, 2019 at his home.
Homegoing services will be held Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 4 p.m. at Fort Run Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church at Shines Crossroads. Interment will follow at Hill Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
Evangelist Ginn was born in Wayne County on September 19, 1943 to the late Henry Lee and Ruby Ham Ginn. He was a farmer by trade all of his life and also worked for the Department of Corrections where he was a Correctional Sergeant. Evangelist Ginn not only served his country as a veteran of the United States Army, he was the Lord’s servant serving as Pastor of area Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Churches. For over 40 years, he served as host of “Signs of the Times” on WHFL-TV in Goldsboro. He loved music, as he was a musician, Prophet and Evangelist preaching and singing the gospel about his Savior. He always would say, “Get right with God and God will get right with you” and “If you ain’t saved you need to get saved”, Amen!
He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Daugherty Ginn; two daughters, Miriam Elizabeth Ginn of Goldsboro and Evangelist Cindy Leigh Garris and husband, Billy Ray of Black Creek; two-step sons, Roger Hill of Goldsboro and Jeffrey Smith of Pikeville; one sister, Connie Ginn Brown and husband, Scott Alan Brown of Goldsboro and five grandchildren, Danielle Cross, Jeffrey Smith II (Kendra), Eric Bartlett, Lori Rae Lane and Nicholas Smith.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
