Tamara Mary Frances Stankiewicz Lane, 62, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019. Born in Fort Sill, Oklahoma on November 17, 1957, Tamara was the daughter of Stanley Carl Stankiewicz and the late Patricia Ann Dineen Stankiewicz.
Tamara was proud of her work as a Social Worker at Dorthea Dix Hospital in Raleigh. She took great pride in trying to make life better for her clients.
Tamara was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend. Everything for Tamara revolved around her family and their well-being. She was always there for her family when they needed her.
A good night for Tamara usually included watching her favorite television show, “Supernatural” or reading a good Stephen King novel. Her fur babies always brought a smile and life for Tamara was always better at the beach.
A service to celebrate Tamara’s life will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Wayne’s Chapel Church of God of Prophecy. A time of visitation and fellowship will follow the memorial service.
In addition to her father, Tamara is survived by her husband, Jerry Mac Lane; three daughters, Maggie Lane Jenkins and Travis Jenkins, Crystal and Jay Baldwin and their children, and Michelle and Darren Jackson and their children; sisters, Shelly Casey and Kim Cole and their families.
