Coraleen Collins Beasley, 95, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
Coraleen was born in Wayne County on November 27, 1923 to the late Nelson and Mary Lynch Collins. She was married to the late Hubert Ashley Beasley. Coraleen always enjoyed working in the yard as was always reflected by her beautiful yard. Her most significant role in life and what she did best was being a loving mother to her children.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service to celebrate Coraleen’s life at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. Interment will be Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Coraleen is survived by her daughter, Debbie Beasley of Goldsboro; sons, Hubert Ray Beasley, Donald Beasley and Danny Beasley, all of Goldsboro; sister, Virginia Thompson of Raleigh; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Frances Farrell; sister, Sallie C. Elks; brothers, Lonnie Collins, Jonnie Collins, Hoover Collins and Paul Collins: and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her memory to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Kitty Askins Hospice Center for the excellent care that gave their mother during her final days.
