Nora Marie Brown Stillwell, age 85, passed away Sunday at Duke University Medical Center. Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Lillian Quinn Brown and wife of the late Dorise Marshall “Jack” Stillwell. She was also preceded in death by her grandsons, Brent Yow and Neil Yow. She was a member of the Swan Station Baptist Church.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held Thursday at 11:00am at Wayne Memorial Park. Family members will greet friends immediately following the service at the grave.
Mrs. Stillwell is survived by her daughters, Doresa Niles and husband, Ronald, Dianne Norris and husband, Charles, and Jackie Stillwell and husband, James Huff; two grandchildren, Heather Sprinkle and Hannah Huff; and four great grandchildren, Nicole Furr, Matthew Furr, Corbin Yow and Corey Yow.
