Lillie Teel Parks, 69, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016 at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.
Lillie was born in Wayne County on March 25, 1947 to the late Charles Otis Teel and Estelle Harris Teel. She enjoyed being in the outdoors and working in her yard as it always showed. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her precious grandchildren. She will be missed.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service celebrating Lillie’s life at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Glenn Smith officiating. The family will also greet friends following the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 5, 2016 in Wayne Memorial Park.
Lillie is survived by her husband of 50 years, Linwood M. Parks; daughter, Cindy P. Grady and husband Chad; son, Linwood Earl Parks and wife Stephanie; grandchildren, Stormy Westbrook, Elizabeth Grady, Clay Grady, Jackson Parks, Ila Parks and Giles Parks; and brother, Billy Ray Teel.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charlie E. Teel.
