Doris Worley Sasser, 92, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
Doris was born in Wayne County on April 2, 1926 to the late Ross and Maggie Lee Ellis Worley. She was married to the late Harvey Theodore Sasser. Doris had worked as a seamstress for many years and with the United States Postal Service.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. in Princeton Cemetery with Rev. Marvin Wiggins officiating.
Doris is survived by her daughters, Brenda Carol Weaver in Goldsboro and Joan Tuttle in Zebulon; son, Jack Sasser and wife Mary of Peoria, Arizona; three grandchildren, Marsha Eakes and husband Roger, Wendy Taylor and husband David and Michael Joyner and wife Brandy; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
