Sue Raynor Whitley, 67, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Woodard’s Care in Goldsboro.
Sue was born in Wayne County on August 12, 1948 to the late Richard and Josephine Brogden Raynor. She began her career working with Southern Bell Telephone Company and retired from AT&T after 33 years of service. Sue enjoyed riding the motorcycle with her husband and fishing. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
A service celebrating Sue’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Rev. Ira Williford officiating. Interment will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2016 in Willow Dale Cemetery in Goldsboro.
Sue is survived by her husband of 48 years, Kermit Whitley of Grantham; son, Kevin Whitley and wife Angela of Grantham; grandson, Cash Whitley; sister, JoAnn Bruno of Dudley; brother-in-law, Clayton Williams of Dudley; and nephews, Richard Blizzard and wife Angie; Bobby Williams and Clay Williams.
