Lori Lancaster completed her journey home on Saturday, April 7, 2018 to the welcoming words, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”

Lori was born in San Diego, California on October 11, 1970 to Nancy Gardner Bunn of Mount Olive and the late Willis Bunn. She was a valued employee of First Citizens Bank in Goldsboro where she was serving as a sales and service representative. Lori was adored by her husband, for whom she was a source of joy and strength, but also by countless others, from old friends to new acquaintances, all of whom were struck by her quiet generosity and her kindness. She was a member of Free Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church and faithfully served with their Ladies Auxiliary.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Free Chapel P.F.W.B. Church followed by a service to celebrate Lori’s life at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary with Pastor Dane Williford and Rev. Tom Dorman officiating. Interment will be on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Pikeville Cemetery.

In addition to her mother, Lori is survived by her husband, Doug Lancaster; sister, Doris Baker and husband Dail of Mount Olive; sisters-in-law, Lori Ann Wilson and Vanessa Lancaster; and her k-9 friend whom she loved like a daughter, Kandi. Lori is also survived by her First Citizens Family as well as the dear customers she helped through the years.

Lori was preceded in death by her father, Willis Bunn and brothers, Charles Wilson and Pharoah Bunn.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Free Chapel P.F.W.B. Church, 3302 N.C. Hwy 111 North, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
