Mary Jane Jackson, 88, of Fremont was reunited with her loving husband Friday morning, March 30, 2018.
Funeral service will be held Monday, April 2, 2018 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 until 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the home of Wayne and Patricia Jackson, 500 N. Hillandale Drive in Fremont.
Mrs. Jackson was born in West Virginia on January 17, 1930 to the late George and Jesse Rutter Smith.
She is survived by two sons, Travis Dean Jackson of Florida and Wayne Jackson and wife, Patricia of Fremont; two daughters, Jennifer Jackson of Fremont and Liddy Hartzell and husband, Clarence of Belfast; her twin sister, Janet Wilson of California; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Jackson and a daughter, Virginia Ellen Jackson Barwick.
