Karen Barrow Beamon, 57, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at her home.
Karen was born in Wayne County on July 5, 1960 to the late Desmond Barrow and Rose Taylor Barrow. She worked as a Quality Analyst with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Karen also worked part-time with Great Harvest Bread Company. She was an avid beach lover and everyone knows that the beach was her happy place. Karen attended the First Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and sister who loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
A service to celebrate Karen’s life will be Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 6:00 PM in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Rose officiating. The family will receive friends following the service on Saturday and at other times in her home.
Karen is survived by her husband, Lynn Beamon; daughters, Hillary Beamon of Greenville and Jayna Beamon of Jefferson; son, Taylor Beamon and wife Krista of Raleigh; sister, Brenda Turner of Goldsboro; and brother, Dennis Barrow and wife Lynda of Wilmington. She is also survived by many special friends in addition to her cat, Charlie and her dog, Lily.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to the charity of one’s choice.
