Harvey Prentice Brooks, legendary coach, 89, of Princeton passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. He was born December 27, 1927 to the late Harvey Prentice Brooks, Sr. and Clara Smith Brooks. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Batson Brooks and second wife, Barbara Koonce. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time with Casey Funeral Home of Princeton serving the family.
