Franklin Randolph Price

Franklin Randolph Price, 71,  longtime  resident of the Summerlin Crossroads area near Mount Olive, passed away quietly and peacefully early Sunday morning, August 13,  at home with loved ones and friends at hand.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 15, at 3:00 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Lee Britt, followed by burial in the Pate Cemetery.  Visitation will be at Tyndall during the hour before the service, and at other times at the home of Wayne and Marie Wiggins.

Franklin was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Pate Price; a special friend, Dale Ingram; his parents, Gurney and Maggie Arnette Price; three sisters, Molly Price, Brenda P. Cotton, and Rosaden P. Miller; and brothers, Preston “Bud” Price and Robert Price; and his special pet, Fuzzy.

He is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marie P. and Wayne Wiggins, and Joan P. and Mack Lassiter, all of Mount Olive; two sisters-in-law, Sharyn Price of Hendersonville and Barbara C. Price of Mount Olive; and a number of nieces and nephews that he loved very much.

Franklin was retired from SPX where he assembled transformer components. He was a member of Jones Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church.
