Lois Rae Mills, age 83, died Thursday, August 3, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.
Lois was born in Wayne County on July 14, 1934, to the late Charles Street Mills and Catherine Klienert Mills. She was the beloved mother of two sons and was a homemaker.
The family will receive friends Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service celebrating Lois’ life at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Patrick Muston officiating. Interment will be Monday, August 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Millen of the home and Ray Millen and wife Eugenia; granddaughter, Lara Millen; brother, Roy C. Mills and wife Nannie; sisters-in-law, Shirley Mills, Thelma Mills and Joyce Barnes. Lois is also survived by her special cousins, Ann McCullen, Norwood Head, and Eugene Head, all of Goldsboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Marvin Mills, Ralph Mills, Norwood Mills, Horace Mills and Charles Mills; and sister, Lorraine Mills Raynor.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
