Ms. Juanita Johnson Smith, 74 of 621 Outlaw Road, passed on Monday, July 24, 2017 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday,
July 29, 2017 at 11:00am at St. Mark Free Will Baptist Church, 222 Nelson Street, Mt. Olive, NC. She will be laid to rest at Carver Memorial Park, Breazeale Ave., Mt. Olive, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 10:00am to 11:00am at the church.
She was born on January 15, 1943 in Wayne County, NC to Albert & Lillie Mae Southerland Johnson. She is survived by three daughters: Tina Charlene Smith and Marie
(Darius) Carlton of Mt. Olive and Sylvia (Larry) Leonard; one son, Rev. Willie James (Ann) Smith,
Jr. of Dudley; two sisters: Brenda Pleasant of Baltimore, Md and Wanda Joyce Faison of Mt.
Olive, NC; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
