Graham Sasser passed away at the age of 92 on Sunday, June 25, 2017. He was born on June 17, 1925 to Harvey and Sudie Sasser of Wayne County. Graham entered the Army in 1945 and served with the 82nd Airborne for three years. He then worked as Vice President of Stackhouse, Inc. of Goldsboro.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Dail and their daughter, Connie S. Richardson. He leaves behind his present wife of 52 years, Dorothy W. Sasser; a daughter, Diane S. Kincaid and husband Harry of Wilmington; a son, Dennis G. Sasser of Goldsboro; a son-in-law, Randy Richardson of Surf City; two grandchildren, Dory Kincaid of Wilmington and Grey Kincaid of Charleston, SC; a great-grandson, Marshall Graham Dixon of Wilmington; and a great-grand-dog, Tippy. He is also survived by his only sister, Melba Sykes (Charles Sykes) of Dudley, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will gather for an informal visitation on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home. Upon his request there will be no formal funeral service.
