Austin Lance Lancaster, 14, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening, June 29, 2017 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont and other times at the home of his paternal grandparents, 3999 US 117 North.
A service to celebrate Austin’s life will be held Friday, June 30, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Pate-Lancaster Cemetery in Pikeville.
Austin was born in Wilson County on March 6, 2003 to Nickolas Lancaster and Rebecca Bottino.
In addition to his father, Nickolas Lancaster and step-mom, Juliana Surratt both of Pikeville and mother, Rebecca Bottino and step-dad, Marcus Thompson of Goldsboro he is survived by his twin brother, Darren Lancaster of the home, Dillon Lancaster of Pikeville and Sawyer Charles Thompson of the home; his sister, Estella Thompson of the home; his paternal grandparents, Nickey and Jane Lancaster of Goldsboro; maternal grandparents, Melissa Spelling of Seven Springs and Gary Fordham of Goldsboro.
The family is in the care of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.
