Josefa Muniz Gonzalez, 88, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Willow Creek Nursing Home.
Josefa was born in Puerto Rico on May 30, 1929 to the late Ernesto Muniz and Isabella Feliciano. She was married to the late Godofredo Gonzalez.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
Josefa is survived by her daughter, Lucy Gonzalez; son, Raul Gonzalez and wife Rosita; son, Elfren Gonzalez; daughter, Elia Hernandez and husband Wilfredo; son, Freddie Gonzalez; son, Miguel Gonzalez and wife Awilda; seventeen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her brother, Alberto Muniz; and sisters, Rossy Muniz and Noemi Muniz.
