Ruby Mae McCandless Cooke, 93, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Willow Creek Nursing Home.
Ruby was born in Wayne County on November 25, 1923 to the late James and Bettie Scott McCandless. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Gary Bailey officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.
