Jeffrey Glenn Sauls, 70, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Wayne UNC Hospital.
Jeff was born in Wayne County on February 23, 1947 to the late Floyd and Katherine McKeel Sauls. He proudly served his country for 4 years in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Jeff worked as a truck driver with Rose’s Department Store for 32 years. He will be remembered by his family as a simple man that loved the thrill of the catch while on the water fishing. He was also known for his ability to build and repair virtually anything.
At his request, no formal service will be held.
Jeff is survived by his sons, Mike Sauls and wife Suzy of Woodlawn, VA and Mac Sauls of Greenville; sister, Linda S. Kelly of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Michaela Sauls, Holly Williams, Jared Perry, Griffin Sauls, and Zoey Sauls; and great-grandchildren, Roman, Jade, Zayden, and Keira Williams.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Wester Sauls.
