Mr. R. G. “Pete” Gurley passed away early Tuesday morning, January 17, at Vidant Pitt Medical Center.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 19, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Mount Olive (corner of North Church and East James Streets).
Funeral services will be held at the church on Friday, January 20, at 1 p.m. with burial following in Wayne Memorial Park.
Flowers are welcome, or memorial gifts may be made to First United Methodist Church, PO Box 420, Mount Olive, NC 28365, or to one’s charity of choice.
