Raymond Joseph Gill, Sr., age 83, died Tuesday evening at his residence. Born in Harrisburg, PA, he was the son of the late Boyd R. Gill and Gladys Varner Gill. He was the brother of Loretta Neill, Mary L. Smith, Betty M. Blystone, and Arthur Ray Gill. He was the father of Raymond J. Gill, Jr. And his wife, Neva Ann and Danny L. Gill and wife, Teresa Lynn. He had three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Mr. Gill was retired from the US Air Force.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday at 4:00 pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with full military honors. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
