David Lee Scorese, 68, passed away Monday, December 12, 2016 at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro with military honors to follow.
Mr. Scorese was born in New Jersey on December 16, 1947. He was retired from the United States Navy and was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Moran Scorese; father, Pat Scorese, and wife, Jean of New Jersey; two daughters, Aimee and Rebecca Scorese; four step-children; a host of brothers, sisters and grandchildren and beloved friends, Donald and Rose Wolfe of Pikeville and many others.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Plumber Scorese.
