Jimmy Lloyd Wade, 70, of La Grange, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016 at his home. Jimmy was born October 23, 1945 in Wayne County to the late Jack L. Wade and Ruby Mozingo Wade.
Jimmy worked as a electrical inspector with Wayne County and retired with more than twenty seven years of service. Jimmy was one who willingly gave his opinion. He enjoyed good conversation, good food and his Pall Mall cigarettes.
A graveside service to celebrate and honor Jimmy’s life will be held Monday, October 17, 2016 at 2 p.m. from Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Gabe Mitchell officiating.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of almost fifty years, Ruth Anderson Wade; son, McKinley Wade and wife, Gail; grandson, David Sims; great-grandson, Silas Rowe; brother Braxton Wade; sister, Esther Watson and husband, Jim; and two nephews, Barry Watson and wife, Trudy and Vince Watson and wife, Charlotte.
