Harvey Stephen “Stevie” Jernigan, Jr., 62, of the Mount Olive and Dudley areas, passed away Tuesday evening, March 24, 2020.
He had been employed with Case Farms as a security officer before becoming disabled.
He is survived by his son, Steven Jernigan of Mount Olive; his mother, Peggy Lane Jernigan of Dudley; a brother, Gary Jernigan of Dudley; and two sisters, Kim Thornton and husband, Ted, of Mount Olive, and Connie Barnett and husband, Kirk, of Dudley; several nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Mark Newsome.
His father was the late Harvey S. Jernigan.
Private services will be held at Pineview Cemetery with Pastor Kelvin Gurley officiating.
Friends may join the family Friday afternoon from 1 until 3 p.m. at the home of his mother, Peggy Jernigan.
