JB Benton, 55, of 100 Keith Place, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 14, 1964 in Wayne County to Roger and Villie Allen Benton and is survived by two children.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 12 Noon in the James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family will assemble at the residence in preparation for the funeral procession.
