Kathleen Williams Howard, 76, passed away Monday, December 30, 2019 at her home. Born in Wayne County on October 18, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Malcolm Boyette Williams and Myrtle Anderson Summerell.
Kathleen worked for several years as a quality control auditor at Americal.
Kathleen enjoyed traveling with her family and loved doting on her grandchildren. She also enjoyed shopping as well as making and collecting porcelain dolls.
A service to celebrate Kathleen’s life will be held Friday, January 3, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Goldsboro Worship Center. Interment will follow the service at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
Kathleen is survived by her children, Pamela Howard Goff (Robert) of Goldsboro, Donna Howard Edmundson of Goldsboro, Sherry Howard Kearney (Chris) of Swansboro, and Billy Howard, Jr. (Krystal) of Wilmington; grandchildren, Lacie Barrett, Jason Goff, Christine Edmundson, Taylor Edmundson, Riley Kearney, and Charleigh Grace Howard; great-grandchildren, Reece Williford and Noah Ellis; siblings, Lorraine Sutton, John Harvey Williams, and Mack Junior Williams; sister-in-law, Dorothy Howard; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon William Howard, Sr.; brother, Ray Williams; sister, Civeleen Arrington; and brothers-in-law, James Howard, Raymond Arrington, Jr., and Vayden Sutton.
