Shirley Ann Hadden Flowers, 85, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Carriage Hill Health & Rehab in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Shirley was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on June 27, 1934 to the late Guy Richard Hadden and Mabel Martine Walker Hadden. She was married to the late Johnnie Raymond Flowers, Jr. Shirley was a member of Northview Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service at 2:00 PM to celebrate Shirley’s life in the chapel with Rev. Ronnie Weaver officiating. Entombment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Karen Flowers and husband Lawrence Maddry of Spotsylvania, VA; son, Neal Gaston Flowers and wife Kate Jung of San Francisco, CA; and brother, Richard Louis Hadden and wife Bonnie of Richmond, VA.
Although flowers are welcome, the family request memorials be made to Northview Baptist Church, 600 Patetown Road, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
