Debra Elaine Hinson Butts, 62, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, September 22, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born in Wayne County on May 30, 1957 to Betty Carroll Moye of Goldsboro. Debra married Ronnie Butts in 1981 and worked with him in his mobile home moving business for many years. Debra loved life and spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home. A graveside service celebrating Debra’s life will be held Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Pineview Cemetery in Seven Springs.
In addition to her husband, Debra is survived by her mother and step-father, Betty and James Dixon Moye; brother, David Dixon Moye and wife Jeannie; sister, Lisa Michelle Moye; god-children, Angela Dowd, Jennifer Compton, Brittany Deemer and Robert Dowd; special friend, Tammy Stieferman; special cousin, Kathy Swinson and husband Ricky; and nieces and nephews, Travis Butts, Willie Butts, Mikey Williams, Ralph Williams, Clarissa Rose, Hailey Blizzard and Riley Moye.
