Robert Ennett Bass, 63, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.
Robert was born in Wayne County on March 24, 1956 to the late Edward Earl Bass, Sr. and Eleanor Ennett Brown Bass. He was working at WAGES in Goldsboro. Robert was an elder at First Presbyterian Church and will be remembered as an avid Carolina Hurricanes hockey fan.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 24, 2019 at First Presbyterian Church in Goldsboro. The family will greet friends following the service at the church. A private interment will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
Robert is survived by his brother, Edward Earl Bass, Jr. and wife Christa of Kenansville; aunt, Barbara Hughey of Goldsboro; niece, Ashley Bass and nephew, Matthew Bass and wife Shey; great nieces and nephew, Layla, Aspyn, Austyn and Talen; and special friend, Wanda Valdez Cruz.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Robert’s memory to First Presbyterian Church, 1101 E. Ash Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
