Belle (Tenny) Hare Hall, 84, of Mount Olive, wife of the late Rodney Farrior Hall, passed away Sunday night , May 19, 2019, at Transition Hospice Life Center in Raleigh, NC with her beloved daughters by her side. Mrs. Hall was born in Faison, NC on April 12, 1935, the daughter of the late Willie and Irene Hare. She was a homemaker, a business woman, and worked in personnel at Burlington Industries, accounting in Mt. Olive, and at Southern Bank in Dudley until her retirement. Mrs. Hall was a member of First Baptist Church in Mount Olive.
She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, daughter and sister to a large family and was always there to assist family members and friends with any need they may have.
She is survived by her two daughters, Dr. Debbie Hall Grady, and friend, Thomas Price; and Marcia Hall Davis and husband, Jeff Davis; and a brother, Dr. Donald Hare and wife, Margie Hare. Her grandchildren are Jennifer Lynn Moye and husband, Dr. Phillip Moye; Jenny Leigh Grady; Anthony Rodney Grady and wife, Samantha Grady; Ryan Jeffery Davis; Joel Davis; and Patrick Davis. Mrs. Hall has six great-grandchildren: Elise Moye, Thad Moye, Seth Moye, Avalon Davis, Jacob Davis, and Piper Davis. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by sisters, Mildred Hall, Evangeline Lancaster, Ruby Miller, Linda Williams; and a brother, Willie Gene Hare.
Funeral services will be held at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home in Goldsboro, NC, at 1:00pm on Wednesday, May 22, 2019. Reverend Phyllis Vail will officiate the services. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park with visitation with the family after the graveside service. At other times, the family will receive friends at her daughter’s home at 300 Commonsgate Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
