Willie Herman “Bud” Nethercutt, 90, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Four Oaks Senior Living in Four Oaks.
Bud was born in Pitt County on November 16, 1928 to the late Willie and Sarah Lee Philyaw Nethercutt. He was married to the late Johanne B. Nethercutt. Bud proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Princeton with Military Honors. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery. Bud will lie in state at Seymour Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Bud is survived by two nieces and three nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to the American Cancer Society, 930B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.
