Mrs. Pearlie E. Melvin, 89 of 405 Miller Ave., passed on Monday, March 18, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. The celebration of her life will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 12:00 noon at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Elmwood Cemetery, 900 W. Brick Street (Hwy 117 Bypass), Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 11:00am to 11:50pm at the funeral home.
She was born January 11, 1930 in Lenoir County, NC to Albert and Lucy Reavis Smith. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great grandchildren and many other loving relatives.
