Marguerite Catherine Schmidt MacKenzie, age 85, died Monday at her residence. Born in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late William Schmidt and the late Margaret Biondi Woods and wife of the late Joseph William MacKenzie.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday evening at 5:00 pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Chaplain Ramon Mizell officiating. Family members will greet family and friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. MacKenzie is survived by her children, Mary Ellen MacKenzie, Anne Cappauff, Thomas MacKenzie, Joseph MacKenzie and William MacKenzie; and three grandchildren, Jake, Charlie and Jennifer.
