Della Mae Stewart Slye, age 96, passed away Saturday at Wayne UNC Health Care. She was born in Harnett County, NC to the late Jesse Grant and Elvia Johnson Stewart and was married to the late John Wray Slye. Mrs. Slye was a member of Liberty Pentecostal Holiness Church
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11:00am at Liberty Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Berry House officiating. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00am.
Mrs. Slye is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Charles Webster of Goldsboro, NC; son and daughter-in-law, Edward W. and Angela Slye of Arizona; one sister, Josephine Parker; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
